Rip rugby

 Rip Rugby

Every Tuesday Rob comes to our school and teaches us how to play rip rugby.

First Rob had to tell us the rules. You can’t forward pass; you have to pass to the people beside or behind you. But I kept on forgetting and I passed the ball forward 3 times.

The first time we played it was boys vs girls. We did okay but we definitely needed practice. The second and third time we played we got a lot better, Rob said it would be great if we entered the Rip Rugby competition. We have one more session with Rob on the 2nd of December.

 The Accident

Today the year is 1943 the air is freezing and I'm luckily in a nice house right next to the fire.

I get my scarf and coat on and I slowly walk outside so I don't make a mistake and slip over because the ground is coated in snow. As I take a step outside I feel like I'm going to fall but I keep walking. As soon as I got to the driveway of an old grumpy man's house; BANG! I'm on the ground, the wet freezing ground.I scream ‘’My arm it’s broken’’. I got someone to call the ambulance.

10 minutes later…

The ambulance got here. I got picked up and put on a stretcher and in the ambulance I went to the hospital. Once I got there they put me in a room and then they said my arm was broken and would take a whole year to heal up.They also put a cast on me I felt as if I would die then I was out of that weird hospital. That was painful I said to myself. At least you’re still alive, my roaring friend said.

1 year later..

I go back to the hospital and get my cast removed.’’I'M FREE AGAIN’’ I yell.I bolt home and go back. All of the snow is gone now. I can't slip on  the snow again.

*It’s started snowing again,*

Well I just won't go outside.

KEEPING OURSELVES SAFE

KEEPING OURSELVES SAFE

On Wednesday this week constable Terri came to teach us about keeping ourselves

safe.

First she started to talk about apps that have an age limit like Tik Tok you have to be

13 and over to have Tiktok same with Instagram and facebook. She said that a child

had

tiktok and she said she was around 30 just to get that app.

After she finished talking about that we watched a video about Emma,

a girl who was cyber bullied because a group of girls videoed her crying. She got a

ball kicked at her face and put it on social media.

Then everyone started laughing except Emma’s friend and a boy named Jeremy

Jeremy helped by telling his mum because Emma didn't tell anyone. Then Jeremy's

mum told the school.

Once the video ended we had to answer questions about the

video like who made the problem better and what did the girls do to Emma.
