 You have now made it to the end of Week 1 and have the chance to choose your very own sportsperson or explorer who you think has changed the world. There are no right or wrong choices for this activity, so find someone who interests you and tell us about them on your blog. It could be someone from your family, church, community or someone famous who you admire.Kelly Slater is the person I choose

Kelly captured his first World Title in 1992 at the age of 20, and his last in 2011, at 39. Kelly is likely to be even more remembered for the wave pool technology that he and his team of engineers at Kelly Slater Wave Co

An explanation of how they/their work has had an impact on the lives of others                  

He has changed peoples lives by making them more happier because many people started surfing because of Kelly Slater.

    Cool choice for your sportsperson! Kelly Slater is so amazing isn’t he, having such a long career and still winning titles at 39. I hope I’m still that fit when I’m that age haha.
