Neil the one and only

2020
WHEN NEIL ARMSTRONG BECAME AN
ASTRONAUT

Neil Armstrong became a astronaut in August 5 1930 till August 25 2012
He was 16 when he went to the moon.
20 July 1969 is when he walked on the moon

Before he was an astronaut he worked for a group that studied air planes.
That group later became part of NASA.
He flew several planes for them.
He also helped design planes.
He was 16 when he went to the moon.

Neil amstrong spent 8 minutes throwing unnecessary objects on to the moon
His love for flying started at a young age when his father took him to an air show.
Six hundred million people watched the first moonwalk on TV which was Neil
Armstrong.

The footprints made by Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin are still on the Moon.
The dust is thick, but there isn't any wind to remove them.

Neil Armstrong had to wear special gear so he could breath
so did everyone else who went on the moon.

  1. Being the first person to go to the moon and then walk on the moon must have been very exciting. Just check your facts. He was 16 when he got his pilots license but much older when he went to the moon.
